It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Sharonmae Patricia Blanche “Tracy” Armstrong [nee Smith], beloved wife to Bishop Calvin Armstrong J.P. Daughter of the late Gordon “Wop” and Winifred “Tiny” Smith. Loving mother to Kim [Andre], Kevin [Melissa] and Jon [Dianna] Armstrong. Sister to, Julie Smith, Laquita [Lynn] Landy, Sheena Steede, Valerie [Trevor] Knight, the late Thomas Weldon aka Damio and Arthur “Butch” Smith [Jay]. In her 75th year, of 7 McGall’s Hill Court, Smiths. Grandchildren: Antonio Carvelho, Adriano Esdaille, Gabriel and Ava Armstrong. Aunts: Janet Richardson, Patricia Hodson, Rebecca Smith, and Caroline Pond. Uncles: Llewellyn Furbert, Graeme “Flash” Furbert [Roslyn], Charles “Bert” Furbert, Ross Furbert and Morris Thomas. Brother-in-law: Terry Armstrong, Sisters-in-law: Dorothy Smith and Joanne Armstrong. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Special friends: Elder Frances Knight Thompson, Linda Brangman, The House of Prayer International Ministries, The Bermuda Police Force, KEMH and Parakeet Staff. Special Goddaughter: Carla Cann.
There will be no viewing.
Homegoing service: Saturday 31st May at The Heritage Worship Centre. 10:30am praise and worship, 11am, funeral. Interment will follow at Pembroke Cemetery. The family requests for colours to be worn. Flowers may be sent. All tributes can be sent to prayerbda@gmail.com.
