It is with immense sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearly beloved, Stephen [Stevie, Stefyah] Llewellyn Robinson Jr., on November 29th, 2025, whilst living in the beautiful land of Costa Rica. Stevie, in his 38th year, leaves to mourn and is deeply loved by his mother and father Karen and Stephen Robinson Sr, sisters Kelly-Ann and Sarah-Ann Robinson, nephew Kaiyuri Albuoy, niece Isabella Washington and brother Stephen ‘Stevie Dread’ [Melissa] Burrows and family.
Stevie was predeceased by grandparents, Burton and Florence Bean, Edwin and Constance Robinson, and sister Kristle Burrows. He is also loving survived by great-aunt Jeannette Patterson; godparents: Brenda Smith, Connie Francis, Leon Smith; other dear nieces, nephews, great nephew, great niece; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends and music fans [residing in Bermuda, Costa Rica, United Kingdom].
Proud founder, manager and talented artist and musician of Stefyah Music and co-founder of PZ Roots [Perez Zeledon-Power in Zion] reggae movement in Costa Rica, Stefyah leaves a powerful and impactful legacy – a life story to tell.
Funeral arrangements:
A service celebrating the life and legacy of Stephen ‘Stefyah’, will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 2:00pm, location: the far eastern end of Kindley Field Road [before the Swing Bridge], St. George’s.
There will be no viewing. Stephen will be laid to rest in Bermuda, his homeland, which he often described as paradise. Interment: Richard Allen A.M.E. Cemetery, Secretary Road, St. George’s. Colors may be worn.
