A homegoing service for Steve Oryan Parkes, beloved husband to Rose Parkes, son of Rosaline Hughes and Clifton Parkes, father to Oshane, O’Shane, Steve Jr., Jah’Dimon and Jahdonte’ Parkes, Sancia Parkes, Bilesha Parkes-Johnson, Shadian, Rasheeka and Tara Parkes the late Kemar, bonus father to Jah’Mico and Jah’Mmara Trott, brother to Tryon Parkes and Ransford Simms, Judith Bryan, Carol Bernard and Lisa Benard, in his 54th year of 5 Mary Victoria Road, Devonshire, will be held at Christ Church Devonshire on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:00 am.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home today, January 2, 2024 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Kemar, Seraine, Kimani, Oshanae, Jordaine, Kai-Zorie, Izzy-Liantae, Enrique and Taraji; in laws: mother in law : Effie Peterson; father in law: late Horace Roger Trott; sister in law: Roslyn [Winston], Rodericka [Danny], Freedom [Victor], Roydell [Eddie]; brothers in law: Ra’John [Danny] Roger [Wilhelmina] and the late Ra’Shun; godchildren: DeRoger, Paul Jr., Andrew, Samaria and Rhush; special friends: J.B, Buju, Tetson, Danny, Peblo, Tafari, Butcher, Walker, Blacka, Presley, Fenton’s Drive Family, Universal Barbers and numerous of other friends.
