The celebration of life service for Thelma Genevieve Francis, [May 7th, 1935 – December 25th, 2024], daughter of the late E. G. Rhodes Ratteray and the late Annis Ratteray, beloved wife of the late Randolph McDonald Francis, loving mother to Valerie Virgil [Allan], Deryck Francis, Gisele Richards [Paul] and Duane Francis [Chevonne], in her 90th year, will be held on Monday, 6th January 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Anglican Church, Devonshire.
Interment to follow at Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, Devonshire.
There will be no viewing.
Thelma is survived by her four loving children: Valerie Virgil [Allan], Deryck, Gisele [Paul] and Duane [Chevonne]. She is the devoted grandmother of eight grandchildren: Dawni, Damen, Kyle, Karmen [mother of children Carmen Francis], Gina, Antoine, Shaun, Elon; seven great grandchildren: Elijah, Sian, Jordyn, Ezra, Kaya, Zanti, Tre; brother-in-law: Vinson Francis [Ida]; sisters-in-law: Reba Ratteray [late George], Shirley Ratteray [late Charles], Glenda Gilbert [late Glynn]; special friends: Cora Tucker [deceased], Ada Franks, Juliet Pearman, Marion Paul, Rose Glasford and Sonia Gilbert; numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends.
Her enduring love and dedication to her family defined her life, and she will be forever cherished by them.
