Tracey Albert Lloyd Richardson, 61, of Devonshire, Bermuda, passed away on September 16, 2023. He was born on August 11, 1962, in Mullett Bay, St. George’s. Tracey was the beloved son of the late Ernest Roy “Tubby” Richardson and the late Mrs. Olive Eleanor Milliscent Richardson.
Tracey was the youngest of five siblings. He is survived by his brothers, Leroy [Stephanie], Calvin [Joanne – deceased], Randy [Lavette]; and sister Dr. Lynette Gibson [Ronald].
Tracey was a cherished uncle to his nephews and nieces: Dwayne [Michelle], Cathy Ann [Kevin], Anthony [Susan], Frederick [Scymone], Calvina [Eddie], Saleana [Steve], Jaykela [Allan], Kareema [Leroy], Katrina [deceased], Nea [Keino], and Sterling. He was great-uncle to Jazmine, Jarryd, Phillip, Jaaziah, Saneya, Saejah, Jahde, Ameena, and Zion; and great-great-uncle to Rheo, Mhilan, and Yaamir.
Special Family members included Aunt Janice Wright, Uncle Quinton Williams; and cousins, Ms. Jeanette Signor, Mrs. Jacqueline Fubler, Reverend Dr. Erskine Simmons. There were many other cousins and family members.
Tracey’s doting grandparents were Mrs. Dianne Swan, Mrs. Peggy Brangman, and Mr. Lloyd and Mrs. Emmaline Cartwright [deceased].
Special Friends included Barbara Bean, the Russell Family [New Jersey], the Williams Family [Bermuda and the United Kingdom], and the Allen Temple AME Church family [South Carolina].
A homegoing service to celebrate Tracey’s life will be held at St. Peter’s Church in St George’s, on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. The interment will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery in St. George’s.
There will be no wake.
