Walton Anthony “Tony” Joseph, eldest son of the late Walton and Sylvia Joseph. Sunrise May 23rd 1946 – sunset March 17th 2025. Home Going Service occurred March 24th, 2025 at Perry Funeral Home, Newark, NJ and was officiated by Reverend Hilton Rawls Jr. Tony was the loving husband of Joyce Joseph, father to John Anthony Payne and grandfather to Genesis Payne. Tony was predeceased by his brothers Lawrence [Joseph] Robinson, Coolridge Benjamin and Terry Simmons and sisters Orreta Peniston, Beverley Joseph-Zuill and Michelle Harvey.
He leaves to mourn: Brothers Delwyn and Gary Joseph and Paul Simmons, Sisters Andrea Joseph, Laquita Simmons and Rosemarie Burgess, Sisters-in-law Lynette and Hillary Joseph, Rachel Smalls-Simmons and Emma Lucas, Brothers-in-law Harold Lucas and Lionel Zuill. Special nieces Colita Cook-Shillingford, Sudell Joseph, Mandisa Tucker. Special Nephews Vaughn Joseph, Llewellyn Peniston Jr., Gary Joseph Jr., Gregory Joseph, Jah Simmons and Marlon Harvey. Extended family and friends in Bermuda and abroad too numerous to mention.
