A service celebrating the life of H. Wendell “Shrimp” Simmons, beloved husband of Gina Simmons [nee Cervantes] and father of Latasha [Eric] Peets and Ginelle Simmons, son of the late Herbert W. Simmons, and the late Gladys [Tucker] Simmons in his 70 year of Rambling Lane, Pembroke will be held at
AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick on Sunday, February 27th, at 3:00 pm
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at AMIS Memorial Chapel on Sunday February 27th from
2:00 – to 2:50 pm.
Interment will follow the service at St. Paul’s Church Cemetery, Paget
Wendell is also survived by his grandsons Ethan and Emeer Peets; father-in –law Radolfo Cervantes; sister-in-law Jeodema Hortilano and Divina Flores, brother –in-laws Alex and Allan Cervantes; special cousin Anthea [Owen] Lambert; the Tucker and Simmons families, the Ufonics, soul Brothas, and Brothership Connection vocal band members, the Cedar Hill family; godchildren Jarreau Hayward, Renita Minors- Gorum and Giselle Trott and numerous other cousins, friends and fellow performers.
Please note that attendance at AMIS Chapel will be limited to 75 persons. Covid-19 precautions will be observed, with masks, hand sanitation and physical distancing required.
