William leaves to cherish his extraordinary life and wonderful memories, his beloved wife, Janet deShield [née Bean], to whom he was a confidante and best friend; three special daughters, Marie Beach, Carmen [O’Neil] Tucker, and Marcelle [Gary] Lawrence; parents, Catherine Brangman [late] [née deShield] and Harold Smith [late]; siblings, Barbara [late Glenn] Wade, Dianna [late Arthur] Caisey, Lawrence Brangman [late], John Matthew Brangman [late], and Angela Brangman; and Dawn [Leon] Simmons, Ronnie Smith, Penny [Alvin] Simmons, Denny Smith, and Brent Smith; and the Richard Allen A.M.E. Church Family.
In his 83rd year of 1 Midland Heights Crescent, Lower North Apt., Hamilton Parish CR02, a service will be held at Holy Trinity Church on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Church Cemetery. Relatives and friends may pay their respects on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Amis Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick.
Lovingly survived by grandsons, Robert Traé Harvey, Tysen Harvey, Osei Agyapong, and Desmond Crockwell, Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives in Bermuda and abroad. Colors may be worn. Pink was one of William’s favorite colors.
