A homegoing service for Roland Winslow Simons of 26 Aerial View Road, Devonshire will be held on Saturday, 19th November at 2pm at St. Paul AME Church, 59 Court Street, Hamilton. Interment of ashes to follow the service at St. Paul Anglican Church, Paget.
Roland is survived by sister, Julie Ann Tarrence, nephew, Sahid Tarrence, niece Tanika Tarrence of Cleveland, OH, USA and foster son Samuel Sandy of Guyana. Lovingly remembered by godson Lee-Onard Ingram, numerous friends including Cherie Bean and Family, Patricia Morgan, Michael Glasford, The Board of Trustees and Church Family of St. Paul AME Church. Roland was predeceased by his parents Ronald W. Simons and Beryl Simons [nee Hatherly]. In keeping with Roland’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations in his memory can be made to St. Paul AME Church [HSBC account # 010-369 007-002].
