A Memorial Service celebrating the life of Mrs. Verlette Rosemarie Wilson [nee Lightbourne], in her 59th year, of 6 Gatehead Lane, Smith’s, beloved wife of Kenneth Eugene Wilson, loving daughter of Voorhees James Lightbourne and Ellen Junette Lightbourne, sister of Roderick Nesbitt [Kathy], Verlina Bishop [Davidson], Vendel Lightbourne [Shawnee], will be held at the Hamilton Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 43 King Street, Hamilton, Bermuda, on Sunday, October 8, 2023 at 2:00pm.
Also surviving are nephews: Roderick Jr., Ricardo, Ryan, Daniel, Cole and Levi; nieces: Diana and Sofie; adopted sister: Tanya Ming; adopted nephews: Tyun, Dejaune and Jaywyn; special aunts: Susanne Browne and Wilma Rachel; special honorary uncles: Willard Fox and Ryan Smith; step-daughter: Kenita Furbert Bell [Paul]; step-grandchild: Marley Bell; brothers-in-law: Anthony, Cooleridge and Euwin Wilson; godparent: Ernest Webb; godchildren: Lorenzo Simmons, Mosiah Bean, Shardae Whitter, Sierra Paynter and LaDori Burgess; special friends: Nicole Paynter and Tami Burgess; also numerous cousins, other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Verlette was predeceased by brother: Vernel Lightbourne; uncles: Donald McHardy, Ronald, Erwin and Leonard [Dicky] Lightbourne and Benjamin Rachel; aunts: Lois and Hyacinth Lightbourne; godparents: Rita Saltus and Gordon [Dice] Wade.
