Its is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Melvin Sinclair (Truck) Simons, in his 73rd year, of #1 Patience Avenue, Sandy’s. Long time employee of Bermuda Government Public Works Department.
Loving, caring father to Damon and Melvin Jr. Simons.
He is survived by sisters: Joyce Smith, Joan Joel, Patricia Thompson, Sandra Caisey, Jennifer Hall (Patrick), Rosalie Aubrey (Michael), Erminie Pearman (deceased). Brothers; John Simons (Bridgette), Robert (Bob) Simons, Brighton Simons (deceased), Neville Simons (deceased).
Special friend Donreith (Reisey) Dunigan. Barbara Simons, mother of Damon and Melvin Jr. Jr.
Many nephews, nieces and friends too numerous to mention.
The family wishes to give special thanks to PALS nursing team, and caregiving services for their exemplary love, care, compassion and dignity showed to Melvin during his lengthy illness.
