AMIS Memorial Chapel regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Adriana Sylvia Simmons. A home-going service for Mrs. Adriana Simmons, beloved wife of the late Floyd Stanley (Bobby) Simmons, daughter of the late Edith Louise Smith and the late John Edward Smith, mother to Mark Simmons, Terence Simmons (Carol), Jennifer Matthew (the late Steven Matthew) and the late Hope Maria Smith. Grandmother to Samantha Simmons, Jevon Matthew and Khalil Simmons. Great-grandmother to KyAsia Simmons, Jah’Siya Gibbons, in her 82nd year of Heron View Lane, 195 Middle Road, Southampton will be held at The Devonshire Seventh-day Adventist Church, Roberts Avenue, Devonshire on Tuesday September 8th, 2026, at 2:00p.m.
There will be no viewing.
Interment to follow in St. Anne’s Church Cemetery, South Road Southampton.
Cheerful colours may be worn.
Adriana is survived by sister-in-law Alveria Darrell (the late Walter (Pop) Darrell) and brother-in-law St. Clair Simmons (Linda), goddaughter Denika Wade and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Adriana was predeceased by siblings: Marguerite Smith, Elizabeth Trott, John Smith, Gloria Easton, Cynthia Smith, Helena Braithwaite and Howard Smith.
