A Homegoing service for Mr. Alan Sylvester Douglas, beloved husband to Ruby Douglas, son of the late Henry and Eula Douglas, loving father to Marchelle Lewis [Eversley], Keitha Regis [Gerard], Russell Gibbons and Daymound Gibbons, the late Maurice Douglas and Deananna Gibbons, brother to Henry D. Douglas [Ava], in his 79th year of 96 Harrington Sound Road, Smith’s, will be held at St. Philips A.M.E. Church, Today, July 19, 2023 at 10:00 am.
Interment will follow at St. Mark’s Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly survived by grandchildern: Candiss Steede, Denae Gibbons, Danielle Gibbons, Rakeem Butterfield, Keivaunte Joseph, Jana Gibbons, Kiara Gibbons, Eliana “Tess” Lewis, and Sia Gibbons; nieces and nephew: Karen Stephens, Kristen Douglas-Pitcher [Darren], Kelly Talbert [Jon], Danielle Douglas, Kimberley Cash, Nicole Clark and Darnell Curry; numerous other relatives and friends.
