Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: Mr. Alfred Eugene Maybury Sr.
A homegoing service for Mr. Alfred Eugene Maybury Sr., beloved husband to Mary Maybury, son of the late Archibald and Flora Maybury, loving father to Alfred Jr. [Gina] and Archibald Maybury, Algene and Dr. Aleesha Maybury, brother to Maxwell [Lois], Philip and Colin Maybury, in his 87th year of 3 Simmons Lane, Sandys, will be held at St. James Church, on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at 3:00 pm.
Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Augustus Funeral Home, today, December 30, 2023 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm also at St. James Church Hall, on Sunday, December 31, 2023 from 2:00 pm – 2:50 pm.
Alfred Sr. leaves to mourn grandchildren: G’ane Everheart, Alfred Maybury III, Bria Maybury, Kiara Richardson, Arzarie Maybury, Armari Maybury, Matteo Maybury; special granddaughter: Tylasha Baia; sister-in-law: Paulette Maybury; brother-in-law: George Bremar; very special caregiver: Dalinda Burgess; special friends: Glenn Heatherley, John Mills, Garen Bulford, late Carol Simmons; special nephew: Paul Maybury; godsons: David Saltus, John Crockwell, Clyde Symonds; nieces, nephews, and cousins are too many to mention but all loved.
Alfred Sr. was pre-deceased by sisters: Lorraine Smith, Vorheese Ming, Gay Goins, Edith Davenport, Janice Simmons, Sylvia Santucci, Marlene Furbert; brothers: David Maybury, Harold Maybury, Cyril Maybury.
