A memorial service celebrating the life of Alma Jeanetta Simons, beloved daughter of the late Samuel and Ethel May Jones; endeared wife of Millard “Shinah” Simons; loving mother of the late Beverly Ann Johnson, Edmund “Shinah” Simons, Maralyn Wales [Steve], Leonard “Shinah” Simons [Michelle], Harold and the late McCarrol Simons, in her 93rd year, of #1A Bob’s Valley Road, Sandys, will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 90 Somerset Road, Sandys on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 4:00 pm.
She is lovingly, survived by grandchildren, Selina Dawson [Dane], Dorian Tuzo [Stacie], Lakeisha Porteous [Godfrey], Lewellyn Simons, Leanda Shinee Blackman-St. John, Stevonna Wales, Milen Simons; Special Grandchildren Steve Perinchief, Jamee Jones, Jessica Knight; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings Willard Jones and Gwendolyn Crockwell.
