We deeply regret to announce the passing of Jimmie Ray Denwiddie Sr., in his 73rd year of Radnor Estate Road, Hamilton Parish; formerly of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Little Rock, Arkansas. A service celebrating the life of Apostle Jimmie Ray Denwiddie Sr. will be held on Friday, 16th August 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at The First Church of God – Chapel of the Anointing, #1 First Church Lane, North Shore, Pembroke East, Bermuda. Viewing prior to the service will be from 2:00 p.m. – 2:50 p.m. Members of the public may pay their last respects on Thursday, 15th August 2024 at New Creation Worship Center, 23 Berkeley Road, Pembroke [Old Berkeley Gymnasium] between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Visitation with the family will be between 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., and persons are welcome to share Tributes during this time. Apostle Jimmie leaves to cherish his memory and continue his legacy his beloved and devoted wife, Pastor Maybelle Alice Denwiddie; loving children, Dhwanna Sherée Denwiddie Burrows [Raymond], Jimmie Ray Denwiddie, Jr. [Lindsey], and Devray Jevon Denwiddie; cherished grandchildren, Raymond Aaron Eugene Burrows III, Kayla Marie Denwiddie, Evan Ray Denwiddie, Aviyah Diella Burrows, and Zhaani Devii Denwiddie Foggo. Aunt, Hiawatha [Doll] Hinton. Uncle, Martin [Pie] Martin. Special cousins, Anita Scott [Matthew], Calvin and Maurice Mitchell, Sharon, Gail, and Craig Pettis, Chris, Danny, and Sheila Martin. Siblings, Debbie Edwards and Doris Denwiddie. Sister-in-law, Marjorie B. Kelly [Winston]. Nieces, Trina Graham [Stephen] and Letitia Hayward [Troy]. Great nephew, Ashir Graham. Great niece, Layla Rabain. Godchildren: Kevin Armstrong, Jereme Ramsay, Sarita Ebbin, Kieran Evans, Ashley Simons-Crane, and Daniel Galloway, and The New Creation Worship Center family.

He was preceded by his grandparents, John and Annie Bee Martin; mother, Ruth [Denwiddie] Connor; father, Rufus Denwiddie; aunts, Pastor Charlie Mae Pettis, Ruby Harris, and Ellen [Bee] Spraggins; uncles, Calvin Mitchell Sr., Harry Martin, Robert Martin, Albert Martin, Willie Martin, Riley Martin, Gold Martin, Billy Martin, and Eunice [Mickey] Martin; brothers, Calvin and Kenneth Denwiddie; father-in-law, Bishop Norris Dickenson; nephew, Shane Kelly.

To honour the expressed wishes of Apostle Jimmie R. Denwiddie, Sr., you are invited to wear the colour white. Interment to follow immediately after the service at Holy Trinity Church, Hamilton Parish.
