Homegoing service for Barbara Lucille Brown nee Ming in her 93rd year, of Stovell Bay Road, Spanish Point, Pembroke, will be held at Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, Hamilton, today, Wednesday, December 18th ,2024 at 2pm. Interment will follow the service at St. John’s Cemetery, Pembroke. Flowers may be sent.
Barbara is the beloved wife of the late Walton Brown Sr. [Brownie], beloved daughter of the late Gladwyn [Jack] Ming and the late Isabelle Ming nee Virgil, loving mother of Deanna DeShield [Randolph Turps], DeVerne Bean, Charles Brown [Lisa], George [Mouse] Brown [Kimberley] and the late Walton Brown Jr. MP. Barbara is the cherished grandmother of Shantel and Shannon DeShield, Randy and Ranae Bean, Jarrod, Taryq, Dominic, Spencer, Brandi and Aliyah Brown, adored great-grandmother of Adio DeShield Tankard and Samara Johnstone DeShield. Barbara is the beloved sister of Marie Spence, Glenwood Ming [late Carolyn], the late Marion Johnston [late Gladwin] and the late Gladwyn [Moe] Ming [late Lillian]; special cousins the late Sylvia Davis [late Clarence] and the late Eunice Ming [Louis]; sisters-in-law Lovette Brangman [late Walter], the late Dorothea Butterfield [late Ashton], the late Beverley Jones [late Clinton] and brother-in-law the late George Brown; treasured aunt and great aunt to numerous nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews, and cousins of the extended Ming, Virgil and Brown families; special friend Sandra Stowe and special caregiver Patricia Tuzo.
