We regret to announce the death of Barbara Lucille Burgess [nee Seymour, Watson], wife of the late Arthur Burgess, daughter of the late Edith Jane “Faye” Watson Tucker and the late Harry Landy, mother of Debralee Burgess, Sharil Paynter, Donna-Mae Burgess and the late Donald Ralph Burgess.
She leaves to mourn with love siblings: Virginia Watson, Jannett Watson, Lois Parfitt, Peggy Paynter, Maxwell Keith Watson; grandchildren: Michael [Suzanne] and Melvina Burgess, Barbara-Ann and Sharneil Paynter, Donavon Jayson Burgess; great-grandchildren: Devina, Dionne, Steven [Rebecca] and Murraisha Burgess, Michaela Williams, Sage’ and Shye Blair-Paynter, S’Nova Paynter, Daniel and Eden Mallory; great-great grandchildren: Damora Burgess, Kairo Talbot, Zane Williams, Legend Williams-Dill; step-grandchildren: K. Neil Paynter Jr [Renee] and Andre Paynter [Terry]; stepson: Cordell Matthews; sister-in-law: Aloma Watson; brothers-in-law: Calvin Brown, Vinell Paynter; aunts: Gretchen Brangman, Alice Raynor Zuill, Alveria Darrell; uncle: Sinclair Simmons [Linda]; godchildren: Glenda Gibson [the late Charles], Linda Wolffe, Lorenzo Symonds, Runelle Darrell, Allan Butterfield; special nieces and nephews: John Parfitt, Tommy and Marylee Watson, Alana Lightbourne [Damien] and Lorenzo Smith [Tina]; special friends: Brenda Marshall and former Gibbons Company coworkers; many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends too numerous to mention.

A private memorial will be held on Saturday, June 26. 2021
