Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Barclay George Nathaniel Adams, in his 83rd year, of 15 Overplus Lane, Sandys. Barclay was the beloved husband of Linda Adams, and the son of the late Barclay Adams Sr. and Madeline Adams [née Caines]. He was predeceased by his sister, Dr. Delores Amaral [Tyrone], and is lovingly remembered by his sisters, Susan Berkeley [MacDonald], Jeanette Millett [Kenneth], and Sylvia Douglas [Raephal].
A Homegoing service for Barclay George Nathaniel Adams will be held at Cobb’s Hill Methodist Church, Warwick, on Today, October 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Cobb’s Hill Methodist Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
His children will lovingly cherish Barclay’s memory: David “Chick” Adams, Honey Adams-Bell [Peter], and Zonya Adams; and grandchildren; Garyn Jenkins and Zahna Bleu Jenkins [USA].
Barclay was also predeceased by his brother-in-law: John Gary DeCoute. He is survived by stepsons and stepdaughter: Frank DeSilva [Tracey], Anthony DeSilva [Marylyn], Judith Rego-Sousa [David], and Richard DeSilva [Sam]. Step grandchildren: Jordan DeSilva, Tyler DeSilva, Mercedes DeSilva, Nylah DeSilva, Jennifer Marie Rego-Sousa. Step Great Granddaughter: Milana.
Barclay is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Leonard Swan, Carla Greaves [Kevin], Selwyn Berkeley, Shawn Thomas [Erica], Maceela Berkeley, and Jerome Thomas.
