The family of Brenda J Marshall aka Hirute Amlak who passed on January 10th, will be having a celebration of life/memorial service this Saturday, June 1st at Pontoon Park Spanish Point at 2:30pm. Treasured daughter of the late Benjamin Marshall [Anne] and the late Loretta Erwin [loving step-father Marion]. Cherished mother of Tesfa Maryam Tucker, Sirgute Maryam (Kenni), Tekle Giorgis Tucker and honorary son Teron “Turby”Butterfield.
Father of the children Joseph “Wolde’ Giorgis” Tucker [Almetra]. Adored sister of Carol Marshall, David Marshall, Lelia Erwin, Walter Erwin [Gabby], Douglas Marshall [Simone] and Peter Marshall [Laila]. Brother and sisters-in-law Lorance and Lois Butterfield and Cora Anderson. In her 69th year of Sunderland UK, formally of Riviera Beach Florida and Devonshire Bermuda.
Brenda is also survived by nieces and nephews Anthony Clifford Woods, Naomi Davin, Elliott [Zaira], Dave, Wyatt, Joshua, Jacob and Emily Marshall. Veronica and Walter Sharp, Christopher and Lorelai Erwin. Lucas and Gabriel Marshall. Honorary sister/best friend/cousin to the late Hannah Maryam: special nieces Maskela Landy [Justin], Masante Maryam and Zawditu Augustus [Tahj]. Godchildren PJ and Tahmeaka Thomas, Tyesha Barioni, Deonna and Devon Hill, Andwele and Jacqui Simons and DeAzha and DeAz Chambers. Best friends Dorothy, Jackie, Zara, Donna, Joanne and Diann. Many more friends and family too numerous to mention but please know that she loved each and every one of you in her own special way. A shining light has gone out but will live on in all our memories.
