A memorial service celebrating the life of Captain Rudolph “Silks” Richardson, loving father of Jeanette Dixon, Alan Richardson, Alana [Johnathan] Rogers and Alena [Duane] Crockwell; brother to Marguita [Richard] Thompson in his 93rd year of 16 Clarence Dale Road, Pembroke will be held at the First Church of God, North Shore on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 2:30 pm. There will be no viewing.

Papa Rudy is lovingly remembered and survived by his grandchildren: Christopher and Carolyn Dixon, Tamara Richardson, Joshua and Caleb [Janessa] Crockwell, Khylah and Kiarrah Rogers; great grandchildren: Mia, Morgan, Mason and Delaney Dixon, Kaijea Richardson Hawker, Diego, Sarai, Soleil and Chayce Richardson, Julian and Theo Crockwell: great-great grandchildren Kylie and Skye Richardson. Nephews: Ralph [Julie] Richardson and Scott Thompson

Nieces: Joanne Tollerton and Shannon [John] Mancini

Special in-laws: Donna Pearman, Karon Glenn and Carolina Crockwell

Special Friends: Jerome Simons, Sabrina Kirby, Irma Caines Anderson, Kim Bean and the physicians, nurses and staff of the Dialysis Unit at the King Edward Memorial Hospital;

Other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Rudy was predeceased by his parents, Wentworth and Evangeline Richardson; sister, Lois Richardson and grandson, Dion Richardson.

The memorial service can will be seen live streamed on the Official First Church of God Facebook page, starting at 2:25 pm

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dialysis Unit at the King Edward Memorial Hospital or to the Lady Cubitt Compassionate Association HSBC A/C 010-287209-002 in Rudy’s honour.

Covid-19 precautions are to be observed. Mask and hand sanitation will be required, and social distancing observed. The colour blue or other colours can be worn.
