Augustus Funeral Home Announces the Home-Going Service for Carol Jean Postlethwaite [nee Bassett]. Beloved wife of the late Floyd Robert Postlethwaite, in her 78th year, of Beacon Hill Road, Sandys. The daughter of the late Carl & Cecily Bassett. The service is planned for Monday, 24th October, at 12 noon, at The St. James Church, Somerset. Colours to be worn
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 23rd, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm
Carol leaves to mourn her step-daughter Carol Ann Markes, husband Dexter and children Nia and Ahmad; Siblings Dr. Melvyn Bassett and Barbara Dillas; Brother-in -Law, Leonard Postlethwaite [Olive]. Carol’s other brothers and sisters -in- law, Eugene, [Margaret], Loriston [Jane] and Donald Postlethwaite, all pre-deceased her.
She also leaves to mourn and acknowledges her nephews, Dwayne Dillas, Leonard Postlethwaite Jr. [deceased], Neville Hassell, Jermaine Postlethwaite [Shabion], Barry Burgess [Cheryl], Eugene Postlethwaite Jr. Nieces, Rusheika Furbert [Joseph], Darricka Williams [foster], Tracey-Lynn Postlethwaite, Rev’d. Dr. Donna-Mae Postlethwaite, Myrna Outerbridge [Alvin], Karen Daniels–Ming, Dr. Lorna-Jean Postlethwaite [Kenneth]. Cousins: Joan Butterfield [Sheridan], Jennifer Harvey, Robert [Ann], Clyde, Larry [Yvette] and Josette Bassett. Barry and Howard Bassett [deceased] [Sharon], Gary, Wayne [deceased] Lightbourne. Dorothea, Andre [deceased] [Angria] Bassett. Dr. Norma Astwood, Helen Daley, Leanora DeSousa, Brenda Lister [Walter] and families. Idell [Leslie] Virgil, Eleanor Joell, Maxwell [deceased], Quillard Joell, Llewellyn Joell, Janet Parris and Bernice Creighton. Sandra Scott, Marcell Williams [Michael], Deborah Darrell, Marion [Gary] Weller, Richard [Joann] Pulley. Carol also leaves many great-nieces and nephews. Many other cousins and close friends; the Bassett, Joell, Postlethwaite, and Pulley families. God-children Josette Bassett, Lorin Bean, Lea Lambert, Janita Burke, Tyrell Richards-Harvey.
