Caurline Jennifer Smith-Wade - August 26, 1945 – September 29, 2025
It is with profound love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Caurline Jennifer Smith-Wade wife of Gildon [Gappa] Wade, who peacefully departed this life on September 29, 2025, in her 81st year. The Funeral Service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Christ Church, Middle Road, Devonshire. The interment will follow the service in Emmanuel Methodist Cemetery, Middle Road, Southampton.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday 17th October 2025 at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick from 6:00 to 7:30pm. She was born to the late Marion Burrows and Kenneth Dunkley; Caurline was the eldest of her siblings and the beloved sister of Joanie Burrows, Judy Phillips, Lillian Dunkley, Kathy Trott, Debra Mussenden, Sherrie Roberts, Karen Campbell, the late Bobby, David, Kennith, and Steven Dunkley. She was a devoted mother to Wendy Burrows, Garline Tracey-Ann Smith, Kennith Smith, and Candice Smith; and a proud grandmother to Keshun Burrows, Danzil Smith, Shunea Burrows, Dayshalae Williams, Chelsea Burrows, Tafori Smith-Burch, Kimora Waddell-Smith, Neveah Matais-Smith, Quatay Smith, Katisha Smith, and Amber Smith-Burchall. Her love also embraced her great-grandchildren: D’meko Lambert, Alnori Mallory, Anai Burrows-Steede, Noah Williams, Halo Williams, Paris Smith, Farah Smith, Krew Gibbons-Gumbs, Tozury Smith-Woolridge, Aares Smith-Crockwell, Artis Smith-Crockwell. Caurline has 11 nieces, 11 nephews numerous great nieces and nephews too many to mention. Special friends: Martha Ingham, and family, Boozer Darrell, Aroash family, Doreen Philpot and family, Glenda Smith and family, Nesta Robertson, Aunt Caurline and family, Lisa and Macdonald Smith and family, Cheryl Ford and family, and Sandra Dickenson and many more to numerous to name.
