Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Cecil Oliver Wilton “Junks” Durham JP.
A homegoing service for Cecil Oliver Wilton “Junks” Durham JP, son of the late Cecil and Thalia Durham, loving husband to Deanna, father to Brian Durham and Kylah [Trevor] Forth, grandfather to Kelsey and Karina, great-grandfather to Kade. Brother of Barbara Tacklyn, Thelma [Peggy] Brangman [Ted], Janet DeGrilla, Nashira Isaac [Ismail], Deborah Durham.
Funeral service will be held at St. Paul AME Church, Pembroke, today, Friday, April 26, 2024, at 2pm. Interment will follow the service at St. John’s Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Augustus Funeral home on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 6:30 pm to 8:00pm. Lovingly remembered by sisters-in-law Michelle Musson Pierre, Andrea Robinson [Daniel]; special friends; El Capitan; Quinton Astwood, Dr. Alex Romeo, Walter [Joe] Stevens, Calvin “Bummy” Simons, Donald Dane, Leah Scott; numerous nieces and nephews; other family and friends too numerous to mention. Cecil was predeceased by brothers Edward Durham, Ernest Flood; sisters Marion Smith, Cecilly Simpson and Judith Oliver; brother-in-law Paul Musson; special friends the late Kenneth Richardson CVO CBE JP and Arnold Todd.
