We regret to announce the passing of Charles Edward “LB” Burgess.
A Homegoing service for the late Charles Edward “LB” Burgess, beloved husband of Judith Mari Burgess, son of the late Alfred and Dorothy Burgess, his children Bruce Perinchief, Larry Burgess, Toni [Leedale] Burgess, Terry Burgess, La’ Roy Thompson, Deborah Dennis, Skyah Burgess- Furbert, significant other Kamla Battersbee, in his 82nd year of 33 Court Street, Hamilton, will be held at The New Testament Church of God, Heritage Worship Centre, Today, July 3, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Warwick.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Terral Burgess, Doranda Waldron, Kamala Ramatar, Bruce Kylid Perinchief, Kache’ Battersbee, Umar Durrant, Zuri Burgess, Latiya Brann, Christopher Thomas, Cassidy Spencer-Furbert, Princess Battersbee, Prince Battersbee; great-grandchildren: Terahj Burgess, Sekret Amour Waldron-Hill and Kaycee Ebony Waldron-Holdipp; siblings: Raymond Burgess [Rose] and Yolanda Tucker [Gilbert]; uncle: Sinclair Furbert; various nieces, nephews and godchildren too numerous to mention. Charles Edward Burgess was predeceased by brother: Clifford Burgess, son Lanard Raynor, his Spinning Wheel business partners, Gladwin [Moe] Ming and Victor Paris. We family would also like to take the time to mention his Spinning Wheel family Kevin Rawlins, Ozzi Mathews, Junior Robinson [JR], Steve Simons, Walter Bell, Paul Hodgson, Idamae Goater, Angelo Simons, Ali Jennings, Irvin Seymour, Noel Hodgson, late George Atkin, Don Francis, George Francis and Don Samuels.
Covid-19 precautions are to be observed. Mask and hand sanitation will be required and social distancing observed.
