The celebration and promotion to Glory memorial for Charles Junior Simons, loving father to Shane Wilson; beloved brother to Garrett Baxter, David Symonds [deceased], Kevin, Normando “Tiny Baby” and Antoine “Sow Wow” Simons, Linda Dill, Hazel Sabouret and Maureen Boyd [USA] and loving grandfather to Shalisa Smith-Wilson in his 64th year of # 3 East Shore Close, Sandys MA 01 will be held on Sunday, 18th February 2024 at The North Street Salvation Army Citadel, North Street, Pembroke at 3:00pm. Interment will follow service in St. James Cemetery, Main Road, Sandys.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, 17th February 2024 from 6:00 to 8:00pm at The West End Salvation Army Community Church, Cambridge Road, Sandys.
Charlie will be lovingly remembered by his aunts: Ruby Robinson, Valeria Cariah; his nieces: Shabion Postlethwaite [Jermaine], Pandora Burrows, Hazel Symonds, Nakeisha Burgess, Latosha Dill, Trelanda Scruggsl [USA], Lisa Boyd [USA], Latanya Boyd [USA], Keivanna Lee, Danielle Simons, Shernelle Moniz and Rebecca Johnson [USA]; nephews: Richard Dill, Rudney Symonds [Canada], Tony Symonds, Garrett Burrows Jr., Lorin Baxter, Vernon Phillips, and Jean-Paul Simons; god children: Samantha Pitt and Cayden Tuzo; special friends: Sonya Smith, James and Henrietta Bean, Capt. Adriane Cartmell, Sharon Symonds, Hazel “Pinky” Pitt, Raymond and Valeria Cariah, Mandar [Bali], Masters Ltd. family, Elbow Beach family, Salvation Army family and other treasured friends too numerous to mention.
He was predeceased by his parents: Florence Simons nee Baxter and Charles Davis; aunts and uncles: Pearl Garland, Marie Harrell, Arnold Robinson and Roy Garland.
