Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Charlotte Clair Leonie Cann.

A service celebrating the life of Charlotte Clair Leonie Cann, wife of the Late Vinton S.B. Cann, mother of LuVince Cann, Bernedene Bonney [Richard] & Charlene Brown [Dane] in her 95th year, of “Wil-Min” Cottage, 5 Twin Lane Drive, Pembroke HM 09 will be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, North Street, Pembroke on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 10:00 am.

Internment will follow at St. John’s Church Cemetery, Pembroke.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army. All cheques and cash to be made to The Salvation Army, NSC, Roof Repairs.

There will be no viewing.

She is also survived by her special nieces: Dawnette Somner, Meredith Paynter; grandchildren: Robin [Rowena], DaVita, Luvince Jr. [Gabriella], Deon, Zavone Bonney [Arlene], Lionel [Gena], Jamie [Shawnae], Angel Burgess [Jason], Toussaint Bonney, Tanisha Gray [Antonio]; 29 great-grands, 4 great-great grands; siblings: Olive Matthews and Illys Richardson; sister-in-law: Blossom Adams [Ken]; brother-in-law: Victor Cann [Evelyn]; godson: Kevin Richardson; numerous nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends; Salvation Army Church Family, Salvation Army Home League, Community Care, Golden Milers Club, Admiralty House Senior Islanders, Peace Lutheran Church Club, The Coffee Club; a special thanks to Herb Garden caregivers: Dr. Suter and Agape House staff.

Charlotte Cann was predeceased by siblings: Henry Ball, Phyllis Bean, Thaddeus Darrell, Grace Simmons, Laura Daley, Margaret Simons, Lawson Darrell, Carlyle Darrell; grandchild: Tracey Mello.
