A homegoing service for Mrs. Colleen Rosemary ‘Pat’ Hollis, beloved wife to Sherman ‘Spuds’ Hollis, daughter of the late Grenfall “Maggie” Hodgson and Hyacinth and William Allan Bean, Snr., loving mother to Una Lewis [Fred ‘Pinks’], Rudolph ‘Buddy’ [Leanne], Shervin ‘Dicky’ [Barbara], Vance ‘Hot-dog’ [Darlene] Hollis, the late Sherman ‘Butchie’ and Joseph ‘Joey’ [late Rhonda] Hollis, sister to Allan Bean [Debbie], Judith Tucker [late Howard], Jeanette Davis [late Randall], Linda DeVaughn [Richard], Frances Breary [Toledo], Valerie Dill [Vernon], the late Gwendolyn and Sandra Bean, mother to special children Christine O’Brien and Randolph DeShield [Deanna], in her 91st year of ‘Ellenwood’ 17 Mount Hill, Pembroke, will be held at St. John’s Church, today, January 4, 2024 at 3:00 pm.
Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held at St. John’s Church, today, January 4, 2024 from 2:00 pm to 2:50 pm.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Troy ‘Pinks’ Lewis [Nicole], Craig Evans [Fredrica], Corrie Evans, Jamar Wade, Shawn Russell [Charmaine], Omejae Goater, Kareem, Torie, Shane, Julian-Rae, Shaundae and Chelsea Hollis; special grandchildren: Morris, Murray, Michael and Mervin O’Brien, Shannon and Shantel DeShield, Karimah Hollis; 17 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; brothers-in-law: Paul Hollis Snr, the late Vernon Bean [late Icilda], the late Llewellyn Hollis [Janet] and the late Dennis Hollis [Carol]; sister-in-law: Cecilia Lynne Cann [Lionel]; godchildren: Brenda Goater, Ruby Augustus-Walker and the late Andrew Warren; special cousins: Alice Jones, Theodosia Lambert and Sylvia Rabain; special friends: Yvonne Douglas, Beana Bean, Cecily Smith, Jeanne Masters, June Hughes, Eileen Roberts, Musa and Levidia Daba, Mae Smith, Randy and Joyce Smith, Linda Smith, Doreen Robinson, Marjorie Williams, Larry and Jeannie Rizer [Florida], Julie-Kay Darrell, Patricia Harrigan [USA], The Goater Family, The Stovell Family, The Dill Family, The Lewis Family, The Family of the late Judy Powell [USA], The Guild of St. John’s, the St. John’s Anglican Church Family, the Mount Hill Family, Langston Cariah, Chrissy Burgess and the doctors, nurses and staff of the KEMH Dialysis Unit; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends dearly loved but too many to mention individually.
