We regret to announce the passing of Daryl Lee Bean, beloved son of the late Alfred Bean and Velma Bean formerly of Sandys Parish, Bermuda.
Daryl leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Velma Bean; his daughter, Kelsey Goldsmith; step-daughters Camille Carter and Corrine Bilby; special son, Dennico Hollis; grandson, Jameson Goldsmith; his siblings, Lorne Bean (Rochelle), Jennifer Albouy (the late Stuart (Popeye)), and Janice Battersbee; his aunt, Cecille Bean, and uncle, Gary Bean; nieces Ashlee Battersbee, Brianna Bean, Kezia Battersbee and Tionae Bean; nephews Neundae Simons and Jordin Edness; great niece Inari Smith and great nephew Aspen Belloquet-Albouy; special cousins Gary Bean, Jr. and Christina Carbone (Richard); special “brothers” Stephen and Marcus Jones; special mates Carlos DeSilva, Rhydell Paynter, Richard Bassett, Ondray Simmons and Gary Watson; the Cook’s Hill family, the International Fire Training Centre family, the New Life Church Teesside UK family, and numerous other relatives and friends, locally and abroad.
The memorial service celebrating Daryl’s life will be held on Saturday June 27th, 2026, 11:00a.m. at St. James Church, 90 Somerset Road Sandy’s.
