Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Dennis Reginald Burrows [Doc].
A celebration of life service will be held for Dennis Reginald Burrows [Doc], beloved husband to Cheryl Burrows and loving father to Nikia Burrows in his 76th year of Sandys; son of the late Dorothy [Gomes] Burrows and the late Hyle Burrows; brother to Calvin Burrows [Marsha] and the late Quinton Burrows, Lynn Burrows-Stephenson and Carol-Ann Burchall [the late Wayne].
Dennis will be lovingly remembered by nephews: Leonard [Lenny] Burrows [Jenene], Marcal and Kyle Burrows and Courtney Stephenson [Kitwana]; nieces: Deeanne and Jeronna Burrows; sister-in-law: Wendy Ingham; brother-in-law: Desmond Ingham; special sister-in-law: Maryann Dohler [the late Ed] [USA], will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at First Church of God North Shore, 1 Church Lane, Pembroke at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Pembroke.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Today, March13, 2026 at Augustus Funeral Home from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, March 14 from 1:00 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. at First Church of God North Shore. Dennis will be fondly remembered by his dog Meka, granddogs Mello and Mocha; aunts: Inez Wilson, Ruby Neale [USA], Sandy Butterfield and Elsie Outerbridge [Eugene]; godmother: Esther [Essie] Pearman; godchildren: Khari Martin, Mikal Thomas, Calmae Smith, Kim [Kimmie] Daniels, Jonaé Smith, Jemal Smith, Princeton Bailey Jr. and Raushan Darrell; special cousins: Patricia [Pat] Best, Johnette Smith [the late Ellsworth], Sharon and Gladstone Gomes, Lowell [Lou] Wilson, Wendy Butterfield, Rev. Colin Dunbar, The Lowery, John and Neale families [immediate and extended]; Rita Furbert, Percival Ratteray [Tanya], Beverly Ratteray [Mickey Foggo] and Meredith Johnson. Special friends: too many to mention.
