A Homegoing service for Derek Simons, son of the late Leroy and Hilda Simons, loving father to Dawn Spence and Michael Knight, brother to Malcolm, Averylon and Valetta Simons, Valeria Burgess Tucker and the late LaVerne Landy, in his 68th year of 13 Upland Street, Devonshire. Will be held at Brighton Hill, Church of Christ, Today, July 1, 2023 at 1pm.
Interment will follow at Christ Church Devonshire Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Brighton Hill Church of Christ, Today, July 1, 2023 from 12:00pm to 12:50pm.
Lovingly survived by Aunt: Celeste Davis. Nieces: Carla Greaves, Danielle Brangman, Cherie Simons, Kelly-Ann Smith: Nephews: Jason Simons and Quincy Burgess; cousins, special friends, and other relatives too numerous to mention. He was predeceased by his sister Laverne Landy. Thanks to Evangelist Paul Richards, Bishop Vernon G. Lambe, Sr., Rev. Jamaine Tucker, the staff of the Emergency Department, KEMH nurses on Catlin-Lindo and Ascendant Partner Re and Curtis Wards, Dr. Boonstra, Dr. Loutoby and the Brighton Hill Church of Christ family, our family and friends.
