Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Ms. Dorothy Janet Bean.
The home-going service for MS. Dorothy Janet Bean of 13 South Court Avenue, Paget, beloved daughter of the late Clarence [Chrissy] and the late Pearl L. Bean, loving mother of Ronald Dears [Maura], Lee-Ann Landy [Eldon], and the late Wayne Dears; [special daughter] Gene-Anne Bean. Grandmother to Wayne [JR] and Zhane Burgess-Dears, Tremayne Bean, Jermayne and Joshua Dears; great-grandmother to Nyleah, Navi and Rhylee Burgess-Dears and Khamaya Bean. She is also the loving sister to Millard [Pearl], Eugene [Gene] Bean [Linda], special brother to Dane Brown [Charlene] the late Leon, James [Jim] Bean and the late Calvin Dill, Sr., also surviving are sisters-in-law Una-Mae Bean and Patricia [Pat] Dill; special niece: Rev. Judith Gardner. Godmother to Kovan Smith, Jeanna-Dawn Bassett and Lee-Ann Tacklyn-Carter. The service will be held Today, 2nd April 2022 at Christ Anglican Church, Devonshire at 11:00am.
There will be no viewing.
Interment will be at Christ Anglican Church Cemetery.
Janet will also be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, The Emmanuel Baptist Church family, The Brown and Johnson families, Patricia Woolridge, Lucy Davis, Dorit Barnett and relatives and friends too numerous to mention, both locally and overseas.
Colors may be worn.
