Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Dudley Eugene Swan Sr.
A homegoing service for Mr. Dudley Eugene Swan Sr. retired Police Inspector CPM, LSM, beloved husband of Marlene Swan [nee Wingood], of 10 Wellington Back Road, St. Georges, son of the late Fielding and May Alene Swan [nee Douglas], loving father to Perry Wingood Swan and DudleyEugene Swan Jr, brother to the [late] Arnold, [late] Natalie, [late] Vanosdelle [Diane] and [late] Hubert, [late] Eunice [Quinton Sr.] Butterfield, Clarabelle [Eugene] Wade, will be held at St. George’s Seventh Day Adventist church on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 1.00pm.
Interment will follow at Richard Allen AME Cemetery. There will be no viewing.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren Katrina Coleman, Melissa Swan, Princess Swan, Jordan Swan, Alexander Swan, Desirée Swan, Destine Swan,Zeal Swan. Great-grandchildren Kelvain, Kelsey, Robert, Jasmine. Brothers-in-Law: Hilton [Brenda] Wingood, Lillian [Gladwin Doc] Hall. Special friends the Bermuda Police Association, Hannibal Masonic Lodge #224, and the Richard Allen Church family, and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention in Bermuda and overseas.
Dudley was pre-deceased by mother-in-law [late] Mildred Wingood [nee Lightbourn] and [late] Elmo Wingood.
