It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Earlene Eleanor Joanne Johnson, born April 2, 1943, announces her passing on August 29, 2024. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Earlene’s vivacious spirit enriched the lives of those around her. Earlene was known for her unwavering dedication to family, always making time to connect with loved ones, no matter the distance. She created cherished traditions and memories, ensuring that each family member felt valued and appreciated. Her thoughtful gestures and personalized attention made ordinary days feel special, and her involvement in her children’s, grandchildren’s, and great-grandchildren’s lives was a testament to her caring nature.

Earlene is survived by her devoted husband, Karl “Red” Johnson; her children, Karenlee [Colin] Palmer, Raymond “Sonny” Marshall, and Paddylyn Gregory; her sister, Barbara Ingemann; and her brother, Kim Pitcher. She was predeceased by Ricky Pitcher and Franklyn “Toby” Lambe. Earlene was a proud grandmother to Lyn, Jenny, Jessica, Shannon, and Karen, and a loving great-grandmother to Kempton, Kaiden, Jake, Imogen, Ashton, Oliver, and Scarlett. Earlene is also survived by many other precious family members and friends.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Myrian Balitian-Dill [NP], Dr. Michael Hawking, Pastor Jennie, Canon Ant, Mrs. Trott, Mrs. Somner, June Hassell, and the many friends and family members whose support brought joy to her life. Earlene’s legacy of love and adventure will resonate in the lives she touched, and her loving nature will be celebrated for generations to come.
