A Homegoing service for Edith Norlene Iris, beloved wife to Freeman Iris, daughter of the late Leonard (Pluka) and Edith Moore, loving mother to Fiona Iris, sister to Deborah, Carol (Wes), Donelle (David), and Dionne, in her 74th year of 11 Whitney Avenue, Pembroke, will be held at Church of Christ, Brighton Hill, Devonshire on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
There will be no viewing.
Interment to follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Tyree and Tejuan Phillips; in-laws: Sydney, Hilgrove, Warren (DeeAnn) and Milo Iris, Colleen Smith (Fred), and Karen Trott; nephews: Heian (Donna), Ryan (Edonna), Tyrone, Clayton, Justin, Christopher and Tashae (Ayu); nieces: Raisa, LaKeisha, Renee’, Gina, Warrenette, Shermaine, Tisha (John), Jamela, April, Frederika (Dale), and Keisha; uncles: Irving, Vincent, Danis (Cheri), Eldon, and Elvin (Sandra) Moore; aunts: Janet Ford, Eunice Van-Lowe, Carolese Symonds, Cynthia (Oliver) Smith, Kathyann Steede, Ruby Furbert (Brian), Sherral, and Pandora Moore; best friends: Edris Dill and Paula Outerbridge; god children: Ryan Taifa and Keisha; care giver: Jane Crockwell, The Royal Gazette Family, The Brighton Hill Church of Christ Family, a host of family and friends both locally and abroad.
