Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Edith Vesta [Jones] Downing, daughter of the late Elizabeth Ann Jones Forde nee Simons and Benjamin Henry Havelock Jones, of Brooklyn, New York, formerly of Manchester Street, Somerset, loving mother of Clare Chadwick [Alex II], Stantley Downing [Charlene Abney], and the late Randy Downing, Siblings, Helen Rouse, Michael Jones, Cynthia Swan, and the late: Roland Jones, Charles Smith, Herbert Jones, Lucille Burrell, Brenda Minors and Kilorne [Kay] Loew, in her 85th year, will be held at Frank R Bell Funeral Home, 536 Sterling Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11238, United States [Corner of Classon Ave] Tel. 17183992500 on Saturday, August 29, 2015. Memorial Service: 3:00 pm. Vesta also leaves to cherish in her memory her grandchildren Alex III Chadwick [Andrea], Victoria Chadwick-Wieser [Derrick], Kalomi Goss. Great grandchildren: Jade Chadwick and Alex IV Chadwick. Sister-in-law Annette Jones, Aunts: Eileen Tucker and Elsie Thomas.
