A Homegoing service for Elder Richard Canterbury Simmons Jr., loving husband to Gloria Simmons, son of the late Canterbury and Lucille Simmons, loving father to Kimberley Lawrence [Montoya], beloved brother to Leon [Dawn] Simmons, Lionel [Cecille] Simmons, Dr. Leroy [Debra] Simmons, Dianne Simmons and the late Dr. Henry Simmons [Dolores] in his 85th year of #24 Chaingate Hill Devonshire was held on Saturday December 11th, 2021 at Augustus Funeral Home.
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Montaye and Kimon Lawrence; aunt: Cora Sutton; sisters- in-law: Lois Bray, Eulah Franks, Joan [Tyrone] Butterfield, Betty and Beverly Burchall. He will be missed by all his nieces and nephews too numerous to name as well as Bishop Neville Smith and the Radnor Road Christian Fellowship Family.
