A Homegoing service will be held at St John’s Anglican Church, Pembroke on Tuesday, 24 February 2026 at 11:00, with interment to follow at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects at Augustus Funeral Home Orchid Chapel on Monday, 23 February 2026, from 6:30 to 8:00 only.
Ella “Momadill” Winifred Smith Dill [Griffiths], beloved wife of the late George Dill and later, the late Oswald Griffiths. She was the daughter of the late John Mallory and the late Gwendolyn Smith-Chandler. Ella’s siblings; late Reginald and late Francis Mallory; late Helen Smith, late Genola Tucker and Irene Mallory. She resided at 47 Happy Valley Road, Devonshire and passed away at the age of 97. Lovingly survived by Children: Slyvia, Boyd [Earlston], Gilbert, Edith and Alan. Grandchildren: late Bobby, late Sylvan, Georgianette “Barclay”, Zather “Noses”, Ella, John, Winifred, Kevin, Allanette, Alnika, Kijuan, Malika; Great-great grandchildren: Jajuan, Gabre, Kalim, Dallanika, Ry-sheka, Precious, Zanai, Kori, Zanae, Tybrae, Kyana, Mitchell, Aisha, Shaquelle, Damani, Kerber, Hyjah, Shaltia, Dasha, Kevon, Treasure, Sanae and numerous great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren. Brothers: Reginald Mallory, Francis Mallory Sisters: Late Helen, Irene, Late Genola Uncles: Late Orvin, late Daniel, late Theodorus, late Eugene, late Leon Aunts: Late Alcy, late Laura, late Inez, late Ruth, late Olive Nephews: Winslow, Freddie, Punchie, Preston, Kevin, Worrell, Parks, Calvin.
