With love and thanksgiving for his life, we announce the passing of Rev. Dr. Erskine C Simmons.
Loving, faithful and devoted husband of W Michelle P Simmons [deceased] and A. O. Marie Simmons [deceased]. Of ‘Whitehall’ 12 Clarence Street, Town of St. George. Affectionately remembered by daughters Carol Simmons Brevett and April Simmons Nelson [Lester], grandchildren Renford Brevett [Myranda], Thurston Brevett, Aaron Crichlow, Ainsworth Brevett, and Andira Crichlow and great grandson Alexander Brevett. Son of the late Cyril D. S. Simmons and Nona Louise Simmons.
Siblings Rev. Conway Simmons [Joan], Willard Simmons, Constance Richardson [Denny] and predeceased siblings Hubert Simmons, Kenneth D Simmons and Jean Richardson. Sisters-in-Law Jeanette Signor and Sonia P. E. Grant. Nephews: Malcolm, Winfield, Mark, Steven, Cyril, and Kirk Simmons; Deloney Richardson, Robert and Ernest Signor. Nieces: Adna-Alice, Rhondine, Paula, Lori-Jean and Gina Simmons, Ianthia Welch, Jill Ferguson, Elizabeth Smith, Stacey Simmons, Kim Moss, Maiysha Hunley, Crystal Shiell, Laurie Shiell and Joelle Signor.
Predeceased nephews and nieces: Dwayne, Anthony and Paul Simmons; Suzette and Gail Simmons. God Daughters: Kendee Osbourne and Jill Ferguson. Special friends: the extended Simmons family, the Signor family, Richardson families, The Bright Temple family, surviving members of the Progressive Group, the Friends of St. Peter’s, the Anglican Diocese of Bermuda, Shawn and Lisa Ming, St. George’s Rotary, Nelda and Sterlin Smith.
