We regret to announce the passing of Ervin Bernell Burgess, Jr., of Verdmont Valley Drive, Smith’s on February 6, 2022 in his 59th year. He was the son of the late Ervin Bernell Burgess Sr., and the late Sherlyn Jones [nee Warner], father of Thierry and Sanaa Burgess [mother of children Selena Burgess], brother Shannon Burgess; nephew San-tze Burgess; niece Elliyah Burgess; Cousins: Hon. Derrick Burgess JP, MP, David Burgess, Keith Tucker, Calix Smith, Gerald, Michael, Kevin, Kent and Scott Burgess, Cynthia Tucker, Royce-Ann James, Joanne Tucker Brangman, Cheryl, Shirlyn, Deborah and Shawnette Burgess, Dina Ball and Jody Banks, Dr. Wilbert Warner [Romelle], Paul Joell, Kevin Joell [Anlitea], Gary Burrows; Luanne Joell, Leonette Cox [Bishop Lester Cox], Nikiesha Swan [Charles], Lennette Warner, Brittany Outerbridge- Warner, Dwayne Simons, Dean Simons, Kristy Simons. Ervin was predeceased by his Aunts Velma Reece, Roslyn Minors, Greta Richardson, Dorethea Tucker, Sylvia Warner, Ismay Christopher, Dorothy Joell and Arlene Warner; Uncles Leonard Warner, Rudolph Burgess, Earl Burgess and Wilbert Warner, Sr.; Cousins Valerie Simons, Rochelle Christopher, Dewilton [Johnsy], Michael, Robert and Larry Burgess and Janice Morgan.
Home Going Service will be held at Heritage Worship Centre, New Testament Church of God Today, February 17th, 2022 at 1.00pm. Interment to follow at St. Mark’s Cemetery, Smith’s. Viewing will be held Today, February 17th, 2022 at Heritage Worship Centre, Goodwin C. Smith Hall from 12pm until 12:50pm.
