A Private Graveside service was held for the late Ervin Bernell Burgess Sr., son of the late John and Rosalie Burgess, loving father to Ervin and Shannon Burgess, Patrika Dill, brother to the late Velma Reece, Rosyln Minors, Greta Richardson, Dorothea Tucker, Rudolph and Earl Burgess, in his 84th year of 32 Lightbourne Lane, Smith’s, at St. Mark’s Cemetery, Smith’s.
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren: San-tze, Thierry, Sanaa and Elliyah Burgess, Quincee, Quincai and Ishmael Dill; nephews: Hon. Derrick, JP, MP, David, Gerald, Michael, Kevin, Kent and Scott Burgess, Keith Tucker Jr., Calix Smith; nieces: Cynthia Tucker, Royce-Ann James, Joanne Tucker Brangman, Cheryl, Shirlyn, Deborah and Shawnette Burgess, Dina Ball and Jody Banks; many great and great-great nephews and nieces too numerous to mention; god children; Joanne Tucker-Brangman and Gareth Smith; special friends: Oland Smith; Vincent Swan and Reo Hollis, the Richardson, Bean, Outerbridge, Warner, Joell, Christopher and Holdipp families.
Ervin Burgess Sr. was predeceased by nephews: Dewilton [Johnsy], Michael, Robert and Larry Burgess; niece: Janice Morgan.
