Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Faith Emily Bernice Shastri-Tatem [nee Tankard].
A service celebrating the life of Faith Emily Bernice Shastri-Tatem [nee Tankard], will be held on Tuesday July 18th, 2023 at 2:00 pm at The Cathedral of the Most Holy Trinity, 29 Church Street, Hamilton. Interment will follow at St. John’s Church Cemetery in Pembroke.
There will be no viewing.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Devandranauth Shastri [Patricia] and daughter Chandra Arandjelovic [nee Shastri], grandchildren Richard Shastri, Talia Arandjelovic, Rohan Shastri [Liv Lindholm], Nadia Arandjelovic-Laws [Markez Laws], Kamala Strickland [nee Shastri, Jonathan], great-grandchildren Rhianna, Rhyla, Emilia, Zaccheus and Oscar. God children James King, Owen Cann, Wesley Trott, Shana-Ray Wilson. Special family members, Claude Perinchief [Gerry], Alfred Wright, Oiuda Wright, Eileen Simmons, Mala Shastri and Sat Shastri, nieces and nephews of the Tankard and Joell families. Special friends Germaine Trott, Dorothy Williams and Rohaan Simons. She will be remembered by the Anglican Cathedral Church Family, numerous colleagues, and friends. She was pre-deceased by her parents Katie Laura Bernice Tankard [nee Joell] and Richard Tankard and her husband Neville Cuthbert Tatem. In celebration of Faith’s love of the arts, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Bermuda National Gallery.
