A service Mr. Floyd Robert Postlethwaite, loving husband of Carol Postlethwaite, son of the late Wentworth and Ruth Postlethwaite [nee Anderson], father of Carol-Ann Markes [nee Williams] [Dexter], in his 73rd year of Beacon Hill Road, Somerset, will be held tomorrow, Sunday, August 12, 2018, St. James Anglican Church, Somerset at 5:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. James churchyard.
Visitation: Relatives and friends may pay their respects on this evening [Saturday] only from 7:30 – 9:00 p.m. at AMIS Memorial Chapel, Khyber Pass, Warwick.
Floyd is survived by his brother Leonard Postlethwaite [Olive]; predeceased by brothers Eugene Postlethwaite [Margaret] Donald Postlethwaite and Loriston Postlethwaite [Jane]. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren, Nia and Admad Markes.
Nephews: Barry Burgess [Cheryl], Eugene Jr., Leonard Jr. [Earlene] and Jermaine Postlethwaite [Shabion] and the late Donald Postlethwaite, Jr. and Dwayne Dillas. Nieces: Dr. Lorna-Jean Postlethwaite [Kenneth], Rev. Dr. Donnamae Postlethwaite, Myrna Outerbridge [Alvin], Karen Daniels, Tracey-Lynn Postlethwaite and Rusheika Furbert [Joseph]. In-laws: Dr. Melvyn Bassett [the late Sushila] and Barbara Dillas. Special friends: mother of daughter, Louise Alleyne [nee Darrell], Marsha Hunt, Charlie Fox, Joseph Francis and the late Cynthia Postlethwaite; great nephews and nieces, great-great nephews and nieces, numerous other relatives and friends.
