Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Frank Arthur Tennyson [Pops] Lapsley, well-known taxi owner T1114, beloved son of the late Arthur and Lorraine Lapsley [nee Busby], brother to the late Pamela Lapsley and special nephew of the late Lionel Dowling, in his 71st year of 11 Clarke Lane, Pembroke.
A graveside home-going service will be held at St. John’s Church Pembroke Cemetery, Today, 16th October 2023 at 11.00 a.m.
There will be no viewing.
Tennyson is survived by special uncle: Albert Dowling [USA], long-time special friend: Annette Trott; devoted cousin: Sonya Lapsley; cousins: Nadine Lapsley-Dyer and Akilah Lapsley-Dyer, Clayton Busby, Elois Savery, Miriam Fubler, Elizabeth Perret, Susan Masters, Marigold Busby, Peggy Evans, Sharon King, Karen Tuzo, Winifred Wilson, Joan Harvey, Betty Wellman, Richard Knights and Ghale and Jennifer Trott; special friends: Eddie Perinchief and Paul Chisnall, neighbours Farad Furqan [Hammer] and the Simmons family, the Trott family and a host of relatives and friends.
He was also predeceased by his grandparents: Rev. Frank Lapsley; step grandmother: Marion Lapsley; special grandmother: Joyce Dowling: uncles: Donald, Ernest and Henry Lapsley, Algernon, Dennis, Clayton, Vincent and Philip Busby; aunts: Elmira Lapsley and Ursula Knights.
