Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Fredrick John Simons aka Honky, English and Uncle Buck, beloved husband to Tirsite Simons, son of May Goodchild (Gary) and Franklyn Simons Sr. (Marrietta), loving father to Kwesha Hollis, Jeanai Simons, Rhyen Edwards, Taijuhn Simons, IITimothy and Tajahri Rogers, brother to Franklyn (Willie) Simons. A longtime employee of the Works and Engineering Tynes Bay facility.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Kemilee, Kenila, Simbarashe, Kaelin and Kayce-Legacy; aunts: Luverne, Annette, Betty, late Sue, Gina, late Bradlyn; uncles: Charles (Joy), Oliver (Margaret), Clinton, late Larry and Gary; mother-in-law: late Donna Burchall (Denton); father-in-law: Late Hubert ‘Doddie’ Rogers; brother-in-law: Winslow Mallory Jr.; sisters-in-law: Donniqua (Sean), Donne, late Dhubreka;
nieces and nephews: Jade, Kendell, TeAjah, DNaszaye, Keo, Keyshe, late Keoyshe, Jahkee, Markino, Kynde, Khyje; special cousin: Nickimna; 30 cousins, and too many special friends and godchildren to name.
Predeceased by grandparents: Ruth Trott, Charles Lee, John and Margaret Simons.
