Beloved husband to Sylvia Smith, son of the late Emily Simmons [nee Smith] and Clermont “Kiggie” Joell, loving father to Athanasius Smith [Sherika], step-son Gregory Wilson [Lorna], Anastasia Burgess [Andre], step-daughter Angela Somner [Robert], brother to Clermont “Duke” Joell [Jean], Colin Simmons, Anthony Simmons, Edward Burrows [Carol Ann], La Verne Stevenson [Brian], Madrienne Quarles [Charles], Deen Johnston [Cornelius], Joan Dill, Murita Joell, the late Cecil Simmons and Paula Smith.
