Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of Gary Lucas Spence.
A memorial service for Gary Lucas Spence, son of the late Lucas Spence and Sylvia Spence- Swan, father to Gary Burgess, brother to Carol-Ann Wade [late Gordon], Sheila Spence, Gina Spence-Virgil [Ronald], Maryam Muhammud, Llewellyn Gomes, Ricky Spence [Wanda], Larry Spence [Katina], [aunt] Suhailah Mu-Minah [May Spence], the late Floyd Carmichael and Eugene Spence, life partner Deborah Smith, in his 66th year of 13 Controversy Lane, Pembroke, will be held at the Leopards Club on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 12:00 pm.
Interment will be on Friday, March 22, 2024 at 11:00 am at Pembroke Parish Cemetery.
There will be no viewing.
Lovingly survived by grandchildren: Jahkeylo Burgess, Jahse’ King Burgess, Sayg Princess Battersbee; special friends: Bootsie, Angelo, Busco, Gordon, Spinning Wheel, Places and Leopards Club family.
Gary was predeceased by aunts: Ethel, Ursula, Daphne, Hycinth; uncles: Ernest, Alcanah, Albert and John [Pickles] Spence.
