Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the death of Mr. Gary William Glanfield [Boochie] Gibbons.
A homegoing service for Mr. Gary William Glanfield [Boochie] Gibbons, beloved husband of the late Shirley Ann Gibbons, son of the late Ethred and Frances Gibbons [nee Outerbridge] loving father to Gary Jr. [Rocky], Legay, Sidney [Sam], Swayne Gibbons, Kim Pitt, Nedra Minors, Lena [George] Hassell, Lacey Fraser, brother to Mary Smith, in his 87th year, of 20 Harlem Heights Road, Bailey’s Bay, Hamilton Parish will be held at St. John’s A.M.E. Church, 41 Wilkinson Avenue, Bailey’s Bay on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 3:00 pm. Internment will follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Flowers may be sent. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at at Augustus Funeral Home, Friday April 26, 2024 from 6:30 to 8:00pm, also at St. John’s A.M.E. Church on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 2:00–2:55 pm.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Dejuan, Kionne [special grandson], Tiffany, George Jr., Jahki, Kujuan, Zaynette, Swaynisha, Sashee, Sierra, Jelania, Ryan, Undrea and Laundyn; great grandchildren: Armani, Kezie, Zhamir, Deige,Gabrielle, Monaco, Zhion, Sochi, Lily, Judah, Zhenon, Kaeo, Dex, Kyrie, Ayce, Luka, Indi; sisters-in-law: Barbara [Eugene] Bean , Madge [Glen] White, Jennifer Smith, Beverly [Calvin] Dill and Angelia Todd; godchildren: Sinamay [Easton] Harvey and Sammy Robinson; special friends: Willis Outerbridge, Gary Caisey, Ralph Hill, Allan Smith, Mike and Allison Hay, Lessline Somersall, Deborah Basden; special sons: Michael Johnson, Barney [Pookie] Robinson and Shannon [Blo] Gilbert, special daughter Giselle Outerbridge, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. Gary was predeceased by the late Ewing [Bob], Kenneth [Bozo], Claude Gibbons, Winifred Outerbridge, Edna Gibbons, Edith Trott, Dorothy Ince, Angeline Outerbridge, Cora Douglas, June Wilmont, Vera Proctor and Greta Somner.
