George Hilton “Johhny” DeShields

A celebration of life service for George Hilton “Johnny” DeShields, in his 85th year, of 20 Whaling Hill, Southampton, son of the late Harold DeShield and the late Burnell [Nell] Viola DeShield [nee Easton]. Beloved husband of Delores [nee DeRosa]; loving father of Mitchell DeShields [Kim], Shawn DeShields [Jana], Blake DeShields [Miranda], Carmen Starling [Duawne], George Simons [Awana] and Dwayne “Pie” Simons [Cassandra “Cassie”], will be held on Wednesday, May 15th, 2024 at Southampton Seventh-day Adventist Church, 228 Middle Road, Southampton at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Anne’s Anglican Church Cemetery, Southampton.
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at Amis Memorial Chapel, #8 Khyber Pass, Warwick.
Brother of the late Calvin “Charlo or Junior” DeShield, the late Loretta “Sis” Morton [Charles], the late Shirley Govia, the late Lloyd DeShield and Eldreeta DeShield. Brother-in law of the late Eldridge DeRosa [Margaret], the late Ralph and Janice DeRosa, Vincent DeRosa [Janet]; the late Ramon DeRosa [Diane], Doris Johnston [the late Clayton], the late Roslyn Raynor [Lionel Snr], Carol Burgess [Clyde], Joyce DeRosa, Jennifer DeRosa Holder [the late Lee], and the late Calvin DeRosa. He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren, relatives, godchildren and friends.
