Augustus Funeral Home regrets to announce the passing of: – Gerald Ambrose Harvey.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald Ambrose Harvey, loving husband to Izola Harvey [née Cholmondeley], loving father to Donna Harvey Maybury [the late Gregory Maybury], Lisa Harvey Simmons [Clevie] and loving grandfather to Greg Harvey Maybury, in his 100th year, of #4 Harvey Lane, Scaur Hill Drive, Sandy’s. He was the beloved son of the late Ambrose Harvey and Eveline Harvey [née Swan]; brother to the late Lloyd Harvey, the late Robert Harvey, the late Alice Bean and the late Frances Dennard, will be held at Mount Zion AME Church TODAY, Thursday September 28, 2023 at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at St. James Church Cemetery.
He also leaves to mourn his passing his nieces and nephews: Joan Harvey Butterfield, Jennifer Harvey, Roseann Flood, Bobby Harvey, Tommy Harvey, John Harvey [godson], Rev. Blanche Woodward, Nelda Smith [goddaughter], Milton Bean, Reginald Bean, Randy Bean, Lavonne Bean, James Dennard, Susanne Dennard, Stephen Dennard, Joanna Dennard-Wilkins; the Swan, Stewart, Cholmondeley, Dickenson, Bean, Pringle, Anderson, Tucker and James families; special friends: Jennifer Manders and Dr. Emcee Chekwas, the surviving members of The Progressive Group, caregivers Sheila Estorque and Laurene Dacutan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
